I notice that sometimes when I am connected to the internet and am reading a web site for a while, my connection shows that info is being transmitted! To whom I havn't a clue although my bet is Microsoft. I have cybermedia Guardog but that does not seem to be enough. It's bad enough we have to buy Microsoft software, but then to buy software to prevent this from happening is another. I downloaded something called "hakerproof" but it does not seem to work. Any suggestions? Should I dump all my cookies?

AS long as you are connected to the ISP it should work. I used Netscape 4 and had so many crashes I decided to change to IE 4.1 ~ I hated doing it because there are many things I preferred about Netscape over IE but the change over has been worth it; very rarely have a crash now.
