Being able to issue fractional shares as needed, interesting. How could one end up with fractional shares or more precisely what event/action would have to take place??? Completely off topic: Just calculated the number of shares that I will have after CSMA does a 5-1 reverse split, which only had ~22 million shares out of 50 million authorized. Fortunately I didn't have that many shares of it, but it was the first stock It's one thing if a reverse split happens in a stock with 100+ million shares (or is at least in the back of ones mind as a possibility), but another to be totally blindsided.
