Sorry. I didn't think I was being clear enough. I assume when you want to freeze your portfolio, you mean the companies, shares, price, but not the current market price. If so:

When you make a portfolio public, it gives you a URL such as the one in your post. If you copy that URL into your browser window location (assuming Netscape or IE) replacing the standard one that always shows techstocks.com with the portfolio one and hit enter you will now be at the portfolio ONLY URL. You can now bookmark this and it will freeze it for future reference.

When you go to this bookmark, you are given the option of saving the portfolio as your own, where you can edit it and rename it as many times as you wish.

I am trying to "freeze" the portfolio at this point in time, so that I can refer to it in the future This is your bookmarked portfolio.

The cloned, renamed portfolio would then serve as a basis for further revision. I can and will do such manually. This is the saved portfolio, which you can have many variations of.

It is difficult to describe without using my hands to point, so if you still have trouble, let me know and I would be happy to be more specific.
