If it gets dropped, it can hardly be called important to value. So what possible outcome in court will have any positive effect on shareholder value? I thought that the suit was asking no money damages. Restricting the shares that Gort/Christensen have won't change things either. They're already out there. The real effect is going to come from whether or not MTEI reserve estimates can be proved. If they cannot, then I would be willing to bet that we will have a more substantively accurate estimate to replace the initial $200M one. Now that will affect shareholder value, if it ever starts trading again.
