I know you are trying to weasel out of what you said but it doesn't work that way. Just like bubba is finding out. Had he chosen the hard path it would have been easier for him. Like Nixon before him he's trying to draw a circle around the truth and hide it with his lie. You said he didn't have a choice. That's simply a cover. He had a complex choice, chose wrong and is living the horrors of his decision. But the Constitution and the Laws of the Land guarantee and protect his and anyone's right to choose. When he eventually does admit to his lies, then he will have consequences far more devastating than he even fears now. His hubris will bring him down to the depths of pain. Remember he has a very vulnerable daughter who chose to runaway and hide 3000 miles from the circus that he created. Someday he will have to face her exposed in his deceit. Do you remember the weeks following his reelection ? It was a simply bizarre time. First thing, he took a power trip to the two countries which have truly infamous reputations; the PI and Thailand. If you've been there you know what I mean. Now what do you suppose he needed to do there ? Then either during that time or immediately following the WH doors flew open and a whole covey of Cabinet officials flew out never to return, including Leon Panetta, the guy who was responsible for the staff that included Monica. Now Leon, from the "safe" distance of the West coast has been calling for his eminence to come clean...ostensibly to protect the Party. Didn't it appear peculiar to you, that most of his closest staff bailed ? It certainly appeared so to me. Just some thoughts, since unlike the others, you appear to have a mind for discussions and analysis.
