I think they just push it down once they need shares. But if I can't watch for 10mins in this market I put in a stop about 5-10% lower than the current bid.

I think that is true if you are a position trader, but if you are trying to day trade, and you do calculate your entry correctly,the protective stop is your insurance policy and the trailing stop assures you of a steady income...Regards, Mark
