Toyota has their own fuel cell program which they've been working on for several years. It is probably the closest competitive project to Ballard, and in my view further validates the Ballard/Daimler/Ford program to introduce FC automobiles by 2004. The bus program is on track, and I understand that this venture will be fully commercialized by 2002. I talked to investors relations a few days ago and they advise that they are breaking ground in September for their bus manufacturing plant in Burnaby. From that I assume that the prototypes in Chicago are running as planned (at least I have not heard of any problems).
