It is interesting that no democrat has come out in front and openly said that Slick must go.

And even more interesting that no Democrat has come forward to say that the allegations will be proven untrue. Lots of them are saying "unproven," but I think they know better than to say "untrue."

Clinton is an embarrassment to the Democratic Party, but the DNC and its leaders can't admit it at this point. They have too much invested in him; if he goes down, they go down with him through association.

Remember all those ex-Democratic congressmen who have changed their party affiliation to Republican over the past few years? You just know they're breathing a collective sigh of relief with each new development of the investigation.

August 1998 will be very interesting to watch.
