I'm brand new to this thread, and have a question for anybody who might be able to help. On the AppleStore website, the following is listed under the Firewire option:

Our FireWire option consists of a three-port FireWire PCI card, a 2-meter FireWire cable, and bundled software that allows you to capture, edit, and play back digital video, as well as to export it to tape.

Does anybody know whose software this is? Third party? Apple's own? Thanks!

David

<<Win/Mac training on Macs is brilliant! Virtual PC>>

Yes! I'm looking to suggest it for our corporate training center as well since we also have a cross-platform environment.

Currently, we have a Mac on top of the desks and a PC tower below with a switch box to share the monitor.

This could save us thousands in equipment costs!! We no longer need two computers in the classroom to teach two platforms!
