NSKY, NEWS DUE OUT very soon: News pending on NSKY could easily propel us to .10 or higher even before the news hits. JMO I just want to add a brief history of NSKY for those of you who know nothing about the company: New Sky Communications 731 Power Building 16 W. Main St. Rochester, NY 14169 Tel. 716-454-5490 Carl Reynolds is the Ceo of NSKY and has been ever since it's inception in 1984. NSKY originally came public in 1984 as Thoroughbred U.S.A.. Mr. Reynolds intentions, originally were to get into horse racing and purchase a Race Track in the Rochester area called Finger Lakes Horse Track. In 1987 New Sky Communications was founded. They are a production company that does the producing of movies from financing, editing and distribution of the final product. New Sky's last movie was "Lady in White" which is still being distributed through Samuell Goldwyn Mayer and other distribution channels. New Sky is still recieving royalties from "Lady in White." Outstanding shares: 193 million of 200 million Authorized Float size: 90 million Restricted shares: 100 million New Sky is actively in discussions for distribution of the new cut of "Freak..." with several companies, with renewed interest from October Films understandable because of Zahn. It's just a matter of time and negotiations now. In addition to Zahn's roles discussed here previously, he just wrapped on an independent film "Happy Texas" (no release date yet); and is now on the set with Sandra Bullock and Ben Affleck shooting Dreamworks' (anyone bigger?!) "Forces of Nature" which is set for release Feb. 12, 1999. Reynolds expects a press release soon (but he wouldn't say exactly when) announcing an agreement with Winchester Entertainment regarding them working on the financing of NSKY's next major project,"Face Value". The release date of that PR could be within a week, depending on when the various lawyers agree. This, of course, is the one in which Hollywood's A-List is so interested (discussed in previous posts). Also, negotiations are continuing on "The Hell Candidate", but Reynolds still cannot discuss the details due to the nature of the current talks. Steve Zahn is becoming a mjor commodity in Hollywood. NSKY is in the right place at the right time. geocities.com
