Hal,

Yes lack of other inside buyers is puzzling to me as well. There could be several legitimate reasons..
---were prevented from buying since January because of the confidential activities..debt financing, micronet acquisition, preferred exchange...these have taken up the entire year so far and with quarter not yet released, there may not have been a window open for insiders to legally buy in the open market...

----could still be prevented because of pending other confidential activities not yet publically disclosed...such as 2nd acquisition...or perhaps a significant licensing agreement has been signed...I am intrigued by the April 7 agreement of cross licensing between Sony and Microsoft re the home network module and Windows CE to operate all types of digital media devices...Since Sony is a licensee of Ampex technology and IF some of that technology is embedded in the technology licensed to Microsoft, wouldn't Microsoft have to license same patents from Ampex???? Just a thought.....By the by, if you do a search at WebTV's site on Ampex, you get a hit on the WEBtv Beta program itself. I surely have no idea what that means. Probably nothing.....

----Directors should own more stock...no excuse not to buy at these levels...only reason that would fly with me is if they are not legally able to because of possession of non confidential info.....
