Thean, where ya been? Big caps are down 10%. Many that I own puts on are down much more. It will get much worse. Be assured. Watch the dollar. As it sells off so goes our stock and bond mkt. Interesting that both the bond and stock mkt were selling off when things started to get out of hand to day? This mkt is in liquidiation, IMO. If you are long, get the hell out. You saw how fast a buy program moved the DOW 150 points in about 15 minutes. Curbs preventt sell programs once we're down (which is mkt manipulation BTW- since mkts tend to fall faster than they rise, the trade offf of not allowing buy programs to the upside dows not have the same impact. When was the last time you saw the DOW crash-up 3000 points casue of frenzied buyers?-- this is probably one of the reasons this mkt has gotten so bloated) However, natural selling could take this thing down in a real hurry. I'm going to go out on a limb early here and say this rally may not be as big as everyone thinks or as long. My guess is we may flag here much like we did at the 8900 level before plunging again. Thean, Since we are on the subject of mother-in-laws... it appears that your tolerance is about as high as mine gg. May have to take a few days off (unless I change my mind of course). I'm short SPLS @ 31 so I'll have to pay some attention. That secondary did the stock price no good. HDI - still waiting but may pounce. Reason for the time off is that the in-laws are comming for the weekend - rather be shorting stocks but this is my wifely duty and I must prepare for them. Had the sound off but saw Abbey on Nightly Business - hope she had soothing words so that everything will be in place when I get back. Question to all: I need a different realtime quote service. Using Quote.com now. Leaning toward PC Quote. Also looking at DBC (Doc - you still happy?) and even MB Trader although it seems quite different and may be more than I need. Thean have you already told me? What do you use? I'd really appreciate any opinions as I plan on moving on this in a day or two. This thread has been most helpful to me. Doc - SUIT showed up on my scan. Seems halfway gone already. Peter- If you are lurking - so did TAGS. The problem with my scans (and my habits) is that by the time I do the fundamentals its way past everyone's bedtime.
