Calling a bear is not somthing to do lightly..

I am not a bull or a bear.. I like my selected stocks, it makes it nicer to see the market move forward, but I am becomming more of a trader, less of a cheerleader..

I think the components of a bear market are more complicated than to say that because the S&P fell below a certain level for 3 trading days that a market that has run for many years is all of a sudden over.

Until I see more of the ecomnomic components of a bear market arise, I will not call it so. Is inflation low? yes.. is the economy holding up nicely? yes.. are interest rates low? yes.. is money pouring in globally? yes.. are corporation profits increasing? yes, not by the hungry analyst demands, but they are rising... So tell me what economic factors are pointing to a bear? I just pointed out all legs of the table.. A bull wont die easily...

I am under the opinion that the market will gyrate and things might get ugly until certain things settle down, Asia being one of them, but what concerns me more is that Canada and Mexico and China are thinking about devaluing their currencies and it is going to take a near global collapse before Greenspan lifts his conservative finger to take the lead and stop some of this. He isnt Volker, we know that.. but he doesnt need to wait until the flood begins to patch the damn either.

Lets be a bit cautious about what we post on here.
