While doing some research on Hepatitis info I got from AHS, I came across the Hep-C BC web sight. While trying to learn more about competing available treatments for Hep-C (that might compete with Hepatico - AHS's experimental Hepatitis treatment) I found a newly posted update from the publisher of a "Hepatitis sufferer's support sight" at:

geocities.com

Apparently a Hep-C sufferer, Carol D, who has been taking Hepatico for one month has reported to the author of Hep-C BC that her LFT's (Liver Function Test results) have drop to zero for the first time in 4 years.

I checked this info out with a physician friend of mine and apparently this LFT change is a fairly reliable sign that the patient's liver function has returned to normal. I called AHS but they were unable to comment on this posting - sighting confidentiality as the reason. I understand that this sight is a non-profit sight run by a Hep-C sufferer from North Vancouver who would seem to have no reason to lie. Sounds like good news - will keep everyone updated if I get more info. I also understand that they will have financials on Monday or Tuesday of next week.
