<< Is LGND oversold at these levels? >>

LGND is going for around $10 and LGNDW is going for around $4. That means that you can lock in a $11-11.25 purchase price for buying LGND, for a price of $4???

If Henry's right about Ligand's science, and about Wall Street not understanding the earnings capability of Ligand, LGNDW looks like a gift, IMHO!

<< Is there any reason to believe that LGND can rise in the near future, even if the losers keep outnumbering the winners by a large number? >>

I'd bet against that happening, but I hope that it does. There's a bunch of institutions that MUST be salivating over these low biotech prices. Unless there is a significant meltdown, I would expect some of the more proactive institutions to start buying up some of these bargains. Once one does it, the others might follow.

On the other hand, if Ligand would start selling chocolate covered Panretin Capsules on the Internet the stock could go to $100! <g>

<< Are we going to see 8 or 12 sooner? >>

Now there is a question to which I can give the right answer, which is YES.

To me, it looks like $9 is the next support level. It sure would add a little comfort if LGND holds the $10 level.

I jumped in on your note because you had a bunch of interesting questions. I'm hoping that we get a little more discussion going on the questions that you asked.

At any rate, best of luck, Bob
