Doug, I wonder if you be nice enough to explain how support levels for a stock are calculated in brief terms. If that isn't possible or convenient (I don't want to take up a lot of your time)could you please advise of a good book or perhaps an internet site which could provide me with some insight. I seem to be hearing reference made to "support levels" a lot recently from a variety of sources so I guess it's time to get in the "know". From this last sentence of mine, you may correctly assume that my lovely portfolio, or more accurately, the support levels of the stocks which make up my portfolio are getting "tested" on a regular basis. Ouch. Thanks.

P.S. ...and if you also know a source from which to learn how to predict future events with 99.9 percent reliability, I will gladly accept info on that too!! :-)
