>>A SHORT impersonating a LONG... I thought i've seen everything!<<

I could show you my account statement, but what's the point. Whether I'm long or short is not the issue. Why don't you listen to the logic and reasonings of my posts? If you got the intellectual prowess to take my arguments apart factually, then I welcome you to do so. But all you seem to be able to do is re-post old news here and at the Yahoo boards.

I always explore all sides of the issues on my positions. I evaluate the up and down sides to calculate the risks and rewards and base my decisions on that. I don't know if you heard about this concept called due diligence.

Yes, I do short stocks and for the record I have been short on CMGI in the past (and made good money too, I might add) and I'm current long CMGI. But I told you that right from the beginning:

A SHORT impersonating a LONG... I thought i've seen everything!

Urlman,

I don't mean to cross swords with you, but I appreciate Diabloique's level-headed posts. I also think you are wrongly accusing her of being a short. More importantly, it's not relevant whether an investor is short or long. What's relevant is, are the posts factual, thoughtful, and adding to the discussion?

Think about it. As long as her posts meet those criteria, you should be glad if you think she's short. After all, if you're right, you would make more money than her. All you CMGI longs who are certain of continued upward gains should be thrilled by anyone shorting the stock. After all, that would produce a squeeze that would bump up the price nicely, wouldn't it?

Shorts aren't the enemy (they're your friend if you're certain CMGI is going up). No, the enemy is mis-information...
