Kevin - Re.: Crystal Systems (CRYSF) exceeds estimates!
It is not just a question of exceeding estimates. Many y2k stocks have been that last qtr. (COGIF, CBSL, IMRS, SYNT, ALYD, SPNSF, ...) Note their gross margin, research spending, and we know their share buyback ($5Million). Note the following sections of their news release for "beyond-y2k" preparation:

>>>
According to Mr. Amiram Mel, Chief Executive Officer, Crystal Systems Solutions, ''We are very pleased with our results of the quarter, and the 51% gross margin we were able to sustain even as we greatly expanded our range and scope of conversion activities. Current R&D spending represents 12% of our total sales, the majority of which is being directed to new non Y2K related tools and conversion projects to expand our range of services to meet customer and potential customer needs in the next millennium.''

''Crystal's strong revenue growth is being fueled by an increased demand for conversion projects from both new and existing customers,'' said Ben Levy, Vice President Marketing and Sales. ''Repeat business from companies such as Ford and Pratt & Whitney are two examples of long-time Crystal customers who re-contracted with us during the quarter.''

Managing business (with vision) for life after year 2000 is critical. IMRS, CBSL, SYNT, SEEC have all put in place management structure to address this huge opportunity on a global basis. Ram
