While I feel this is an interesting issue, (the SUPPOSED legal action by Antares), it is completely unrelated to the important issue, THE PRICE OF THE STOCK

If people care to debate the right to freedom of speech etc, start a new thread and have at it. Otherwise why not leave this thread to those shareholders, past, present or future. I don't really care if Antares is or isn't suing John, ONLY ABOUT THE PRICE OF THE STOCK!!!!!!!

Personally, i am long 15k shares and at considerably more than $0.19. Am I pissed off, you bet. I am whining and complaining about crooked management and conspiracy theories, nope.

Nobody put a gun to your head. You have to remember these are SPECULATIVE JUNIOR MINING STOCKS. GOLD MINING STOCKS. I also own Placer Dome at about $23, but I am not accusing them of mismanagement. We all have ourselves to blame. If we were really smart, we would all have bought into internet plays about a year ago, not resource stocks.

Come on. Get off it and get over yourselves.

DL

PS
Somebody call Antares tommorow and find out if they are really suing John, or if it is just some scam prank BS

A company has a responsibility to its shareholders. First they must increase shareholder value. This includes protecting the company from attacks which can threaten that value.

If in Antares' legal opinion John's words are libellous then I would expect them to defend themselves vigorously which is what they are starting to do.

In terms of their actions, I see mostly positive developments. At this time with gold prices down, share values dropping across the board and financing untenable, companies need to move to the production phase to generate cash flow as quickly as possible.

Antares is doing just that with the feasibility study now under way on the Jambi zone and their 25% interest in Steppe. At the same time they are vigorously trying to prove up a resource in B.C. What else should they be doing? John has not given one specific, practical response to this question.

Clearly he is out to get Antares for some personal reason. When he blindly attacks Antares he is attacking every shareholder, including me.

We all should try to be constructive or ask meaningful questions.

Lashing out blindly in anger possibly for purely personal reasons is not reasonable, responsible or helpful to anyone. I'd like to see what compamy John would like to see Antares emulate. I don't know of too many that have prospered in the last year unless they struck a bonanza hole. And that can only happen if a company is actively drilling, which Antares is.

I support Antares' action, especially if it moves discussion on this forum into a more constructive realm.
