Tweaker, given this is true, and the forward looking statements are outstanding, and Dell splits 2:1, we should see the stock rocket. By the way, I can easily see how they would not want to "overstate" the earnings. Companies can "hide" excess cash by using reserve accounts. These are accounts where the monies are dedicated for given projects,ie, plant expansion, restructuring, etc. If there is an accountant on the thread, they can expand on what I'm saying.

Tweaker..... I do believe all the really savvy companies know ways of 'smoothing' their numbers... Microsoft is a master at this and most companies would do well to learn/apply these (legitimate) accounting technqiues.
