Bob,
Thanks for the insight. Guess I'm speaking more from a personal perspective & assuming there are a lot of people out there like myself. None of the corrections in the last several years have seemed to scare off too many 401K investors from stocks, but you are right that the party (ie. bull market) will eventually have to end & when it does the dynamics of the current situation may change.

It will be interesting to watch. If people do start pulling money from the US market, it could get very nasty as valuations are obviously still very high (trailing pe's of some of the blue chip techs: LU=107, CSCO=77, DELL=73). The strength of the internet sector in the face of this most recent market downturn has really surprised me. The sellers are just not coming out of the woodwork here. This is why I'm no longer short AMZN, this stock is just way too strong to short over the near-term IMO. Of course, now that I've covered, we'll probably get the immediate 40% drop in share value that we've all been waiting for! Hope it does happen even though I am out, it would restore some sanity to the market.

Good luck.
- Randy

OT Hi R. D. Buschman,

Your comments on Statement Shock have intrigued me. I have heard this term used before and was given specific dates-- January, April, July, and October should be watched closely or are the dates spread out over the year?

Do you concur?
