A couple of questions regarding Datek. When will the long-promised level II quotes be available and what is the expected cost ?

Shorts....How can datek determine share availability instantly while other firms take several minutes ?
What happens in a buy-in. Do they call you or just buy to cover without telling you or what ?

What about IPO shorts ? COOL is a new IPO and supposedly isnt allowed to be shorted yet Datek allowed me to place a short sale order.
(It was a limit order above market so it didnt fill.)

I recently sent in the paperwork to transfer my account from Discover to Datek and my Datek username and password are now active, but my Discover account has already been shut down (for a couple of days) and I was wondering if anyone knows about how long it usually takes for a transfer.
