Rose, One last thing about technical analysis. It's frequently dismissed as so much voodoo, but there are some real psychological underpinnings to it, which is why it's so worth paying attention to. For example, a double bottom is important because fear is usually highest then and it shakes out weak positions so the market can advance. 200 day moving averages are extremely important because if the market is below its trend line for more than a few days, it signals a real loss of faith. I'm sure there are other examples people on this thread could point out. Good luck to you, and stay long CSCO (just to get back on topic here). Paul
