I hate to rain on your parade, but had anyone noticed the change of mood on Wall Street? All the recent good news on the sales of Reel.com and PlanetAll only moved CMGI a few points. Had these news came out a month earlier, CMGI would be propelled to 120+ easily. Gone are the days of the 10+ points jumps. On the eve of a hot IPO CMGI is languishing below 70.

The Street is no longer on an exuberant mind set, caution is in. This is just bad timing for Geocities. I doubt we will be seeing a Broadcast.com like reception for the Geo IPO.

I have been hearing stories about small fund manager getting a lot of sales calls offering shares of GCTY. Now I hear E*Trade is offering the IPO to the retail crowd. Since when does a hot IPO goes looking for customers?

Premier: Does better judgement come from an accident or design?

If I didn't believe in David Wetherell's judgement I wouldn't be holding CMGI. Charger's argument is valid, think of CMGI as an internet mutual fund. There is no BTE. You are betting on the judgement of the fund manager and my money is with Wetherell.
