Oh, Gosh! Dark days again for the DD Champion, GPGI! Low volume and price decline--no surprise there! Here is the problem as I see it. The company announces a value of (let me round it off to $1000 per ton). Any difference of opinion will be entertained. Then they announce a production rate of 15 tons per day. They announce refining fees of $200 per ton and overhead of (I forget), so I do my Zeev calculations and come up with a net profit of around $420 per ton. Then I arrive at a net profit of $126,000 per month based on the present production rate. Then the company makes a couple of 50 pound shipments to the refiner, then Ed tells us that they are only worth $15,000. Does not compute--I respect ED, and I consider him a personal friend, but this is a continuation of a continual disconnect that the company has had in perpetuity-- Damnit, I am sorry, but I need to call the company---I am not happy with the situation! We get no information on the Web site, and the company has adopted a "news to all via news releases" which in general make no sense to the consuming public (in my humble opinon)! I understand that the company has limited funds for PR at this point and I understand that they are funneling funds to production efforts, but frankly, I am tired of seeing my account statement, and at this point, I do not even look at the damn thing!! Foolish, yes, and for years!! Without some effort by the company to support the present stockholder base and provide meaningful and timely information, I project a stock price significantly below present levels. This is in spite of apparently improving fundamentals, which remain to be seen and announced and the medium will be determined later! I suspect that the company is working hard, but clearly, there needs to be a better flow of information to us tired and overwrought stockholders! There are clear limits, and those are being exceeded--I hereby issue a clear and present warning to the management of GPGI--Give me information, or I shall dismount, and shoot the Mule!! Mulerider, for now, Jack!!
