means it has multiple IP addresses or more importantly multiple routes to the internet so if one fails your not screwed.... Fairly common with real ISP's.... smalll local ISP's can't afford it.... Ok this sounds it would be helpful in obtaining reliable Internet service. However, in my experience obtaining a reliable internet connection is even more important. Over the last two months I have had a lot problems with dropped lines, busy signals during non-peak times, server down, and no response when dialing in. Hence I go along with what other day traders recommend get two internet service providers.
