Don't any of you remember my exchange with Bonnie Bear on the Asia thread? She said something like she heard that the money center banks earned the majority of their money by currency trading, so she checked it out, and thought it could be true. Oh yeah, I said, how did you derive this conclusion? Of course, then she began saying all sorts of nonsense without ever backing up her original statement. I tend to find people who make grand claims with scant or no evidence quite boring.
