T.G.W....Investors have to realize the reasons for a company going public. Most are upstart companies trying to make ends meet and, lo and behold, a light bulb goes off in the owners pointed head and he says "I need cash". Now, where can I get cash? Yea, I'll go public, sell lots of stock to unwitting investors. I'll keep my company going, shareholders will foot the bill, and I'll issue tons of stock and options to myself to fleece them even more. I'm getting wiser by the day.
