Peter, I'm not surprised. In another post in some other thread a few days ago, I said that it does occasionally happen that some will slip through. And with Datek, I kinda almost would expect it to. <g>

Let me know if by chance they notify you that they made a mistake and are reversing the trade.<g> I wouldn't be surprised if that happened.

Len

Well I called my regular broker and they told me it wasnt marginable and therefore not shortable. Datek however took my sell order again at $20. I called datek ..they said it was shortable. Then I told them it was a new issue and so forth. Then they said it was not. I asked what would happen if i shorted it and he said its possible they'd reverse the trade. I was considering playing the hedge. That is short COOL and buy WCAP but if they can go "poof" and bust my trade later on I'm not interested.
Still didnt get a definitive answer. i believe Datek just lets you short most anything as long as you've got equity. Not sure how they can when others cant however.
Peter...are you playing the WCAP hedge or just think COOL is overvalued ?
I figure its worth $5-7 a share anyway. I need to call for a prospectus.
