i think one can draw downward resistance lines
pull up dell:
draw a line connecting highs of:

7/20/98, 7/30/98, 8/4/98

in other words, until dell breaks this line to the upside, dell is in a downtrend.

Thanks for the comeback. I am usually working so I am not used to watching these tick by tick but I took vacation because I knew this would be a volatile week and I exited all my longs and figured I would day trade a little. I was just noticing that it seemed to be making a flag pattern that I use on my longer term charts and and should break upward but wasn't sure since I don't regularly day trade. Seems like it is trying to break out now. Now we have to see how far it can go. I show resistance around 107-107 1/2. If it can clear that it is off to the races with 111-112 not out of the question of course that would be allot for one day.

yes, truff, I assume u were selling 1000s of dell this morning. btw: your stock bord? is slightly upgraded so lookin to it.

have u noticed even the disk drives are getting bounce today.

do u have ibm ? it's looking strong.
