Why is this so volatile?

(up 5 points, down 5 points, up 5 points . . .)

Anyone?

'Cos there's a battle going on b/w the bears and the bulls!
This one is headed up though.
BTW, Insider selling is not all its cracked up to be. Insider BUYING is a more reliable indicator (unless of course, if they are selling most of their holdings as the stock is going lower!)

"Why is this so volatile?"

Because it's a high P/E small cap tech stock. I've been following it for almost two years and it not infrequently goes into phases where it moves in big jumps. I'm sure recent market conditions have something to do with it at this time, but it's more or less the nature of the beast. This is not GM. And it's actually held up quite well the last couple of weeks. Doesn't seem any more volatile than usual. Just pick your price(s) intelligently and don't allow yourself to get whipsawed for losses.

ChrisMeister (-who's temporarily 3/4ths out of his long position at 55 7/8, looking to buy back in lower)

P.S. -- the first big jump up was on the good earnings announcement a couple of weeks ago.
