However, there is no literal slavery, and we recognize the rights of all people, even if we dont always act on those beliefs.

Unfortunately this is not true. People may not use the word slavery but it still exists. There have been television reports recently from West Africa about a practice of giving young girls into slavery to satisfy debts or adjudicate disputes. These issues used to be resolved with livestock and are now being settled with children. There also seems to be a practice of kidnapping small male children from the Indian sub continent to act as camel jockies (not a sick joke) in the gulf. I am sure this is not the limit of such vile practices. But sadly slavery still exists and is not yet a thing of the past.

Mark (from Steve),

I'm sorry to disrupt your conversation. And I must apologize in advance if I am asking you a question that someone else has asked you. But for some reason I'm overwhelmingly inspired to ask this question.

And if you do not want to answer it right now, or at all, thats OK to. I do not want to put you on the spot. But when you do answer it, forget about me and don't feel like you need to give me an answer. Tell the answer to God!

Do you really want to know about God? I mean with all your heart, mind and soul! Do you want to know the truth?

Again, be sure I'm not asking it with any pre-conceived notion of how you will answer it, or that you will even answer it.

But I just want you to think about the question.

God Bless You,
Steve
