Robert

Sorry, I am not a long term market follower.

Could you please elaborate on what you said... do you believe that the junior's will benefit from a bear market trend? Some have said that we have been in bear market for some time when you look at how many stocks have actually declined compared to the advancers in the past three months or so.

Thanks

Gerry

Comments on Ashton:

Well the way i see it is like this. We still dont know if we are at the bottom for Ash the Slash. My considerations yesterday seemed to be right. Wait to volume dries up completely and then average down if necessary or step up to the plate. But remember, Ash is not down for the ten count. This is a great opportunity to buy this company close to book value. Excellent management.

Market: Will there be any capital left? After all, a serious market meltdown has yet to happen and if it comes early (August/September rather than October) look out. There may be no capital left to drive a resource push at the end of this great bull market. After all it will not be the return on the capital that matters, but the return of the capital!

That said, there could be an explosive market shift to the resource sector by Canadians. I am surprized that Canadians have not made a run on gold stocks yet given the falling value of the Canadian Dollar and given how cheap they are. That said, ten more cents and i think it will happen pushing gold stock prices up (for those that mine and have reserves) and Mutual Investment Fund precious metal funds up immensely. As WELL AS DIAMOMD STOCKS which have proven resources such as ABER. ABER and potentially Mountian Province (possibly soon WSP could be added to this list) could easily become takeover targets since they are so cheap given what is and potentially is in the ground respectively.
