AOL does not own the cable wire into the house, so they must gain access to that somehow. Since cable companies across the USA are typically either owners of ATHM or involved with MediaOne/RoadRunner (whatever) that will be kind of tough.

With no free access to physical cable wire, AOL is screwed.
Maybe they can pay ATHM to put an "AOL" icon on the ATHM home
page, that would be fine w/ me! Bring those AOL folks on over
to ATHM, let's see, 12.5 million AOL users + 147,000 ATHM users
= lots of $$$$$$$$$$$$$$ for me!
