Sam, >Friends of Ernest< sounds like some kind of conspiracy cover-up to me. For proof, check out the SI pages on GM and Yogi. Larry PS: For all I know, Stitch and Lawrence Kam (and some others) might be part of it too (Stitch recently admitted he was an eagle scout at one time).

What a day. That CHSE comment apparently sparked some pent-up interest. Soundview decided that this means some tightening. They ignored the other part of what CHSE said, that they were over plan as a result pricing "adjustments" on the part of the DD makers. If this rally is a result of that comment, it won't be long lived, IMO--unhappily. Not that I'm complaining about today's results. For the first time in a long time--probably ever--more than half of my stocks had double digit increases on the same day, and all were up. Of course, I don't want think about the depths from which they were rebounding.
