I was hoping you'd come over here and talk about your favorite play.

APA, EOG, UPR, NEV all received upgrades or coverage initiated with accumulate or better today. Doesn't seem to be helping much.

Robert, I agree. I've read somewhere (oil & gas journal?) that they are the #1 low cost produce of natural gas . Looks like they have some great drilling projects currently and their chart/performance has been outstanding in comparison to their peers. I am hoping to see $15-16 if we continue to see a sell off sector wide and will load up. Low debt - .28 and 38% profit margins with strong EPS growth for 1999 - allmost a double in EPS.

Vince Farrell has listed this as one of his top picks on CNBC as recently as 2 weeks ago...

This is one of the best - imho.

...anyone follow SGO/Seagull Energy ? Top analyst Fadel Gheit was on CNBC again today and mentioned them as one of the top candidates to get bought out. He had previously listed this as one of his top two picks for 1998-99 in the Oil sector based on them being what he called ''THE single most undervalued stock - period.'' - quite an endorsement from a 2-time Hall of Fame Oil Analyst...
