To all, Important message, somebody just bought 200 august puts on checkfree this morning, are we going to be disappointed next thursday??? If someone bought 200 puts, then, obviously, someone sold 200 puts. Only one of them will be in the money. In July, 1996 someone bought 12,000 CPQ calls July 56. (I hope memory serves me right). Options expired out of the money (worthless). I remember it because when I saw the number of calls 12,000, I assumed that someone knew something and bought some calls for myself. Turned out to be b...s...
