Just spoke to Investor Relations (Karen).

Nothing much new.

Bramson feels our pain (owns a ALOT of shares).
Earnings will be out between now and the 15th.
They cannot buyback stock if liabilities exceed assets.
If there is insider buying you will not see anything for a month (regulations you know)
The appeal will not incur large legal costs

She answered one question lingering in my mind.
It seems as though the tax adjustment we saw last quarter, will be continuing for awhile (although she would not, understandably, comment on the size of these writeoffs.)

unfortunately, it is highly unlikely that AXC would buy back stock, since an acquisition plan, as articulated, requires a more prudent and productive use of the funds, irrespective of these prices ... and, with respect to Directors buying the stock, keep dreaming, it is very rare that I see director's make large commitments to the stocks of boards on which they sit ... this is just a sad reality, as everyone likes a free ride (i.e. options and the like ...)
