That is not at all what Malkiel said. His major thesis was that prices had no memory and a random walk, debunking TA. And he endorsed the weak not the strong form of efficient market. But the weak form does not negate Lynch's idea of picking based on what you know about the product and use of individual knowledge in stock picking. BTW I am not a big FA defender, most FA's are quacks too.

But then you defend a guy who uses ASTROLOGY? Enough said. You say you graduated from Duke? Did they teach astrology in business school?
You have conceded that this is a matter of faith.
