I'd like to make a nomination: Linda Kaplan

This nomination is more a lifetime achievement award than a nomination for any one post. While I have the great blessing to follow this person on only one thread, she posts to many. However, my analysis will concern only the ZONA thread.

This person has an astounding ability to continually post absolutely nothing informative about the stock in question.

A quick analysis of the most recent 245 posts...I didn't want to go back any further...reveals the following:

1. she wrote 58 of 245, 23%, while providing not one original thought
2. of the 58, 34% were completely off topic
3. she is a thread moron

And I was very generous with considering what is on topic, exempli gratis:
#reply-5255019
"Let's see what X says about her read of the TeA leaves."

The sad thing is that she actually tries to remain on topic:
#reply-5404478
"Hank: I don't really want to discuss other stocks here"

Her comments that are on topic are incredibly brilliant observations, such as:
#reply-5420294
"I second that. Nice close on ZONA today, (for the shorts)."

If you waste your time and read through her history (which I don't recommend), you'll find lots of personal attacks on people for all kinds of things. She has told so many people that she won't respond to them anymore that if she actually started being true to her word she'd have to post most of her messages to herself. For what it is worth, she also seems to be quite paranoid.

If you make her mad she'll respond by doing all the things she accuses you of doing (without realizing she herself is doing all those things) and then gets mad when it is pointed out to her.

If you really get on her bad side she'll make comments like the following:
#reply-5219425
"You ask what his post means? Nothing, garbage, wasting our time. Like all his posts here. They are valueless and I stopped reading them."

Or worse yet, she'll continually threaten to report you to your employer for what she feels are violations. She dragged this dispute out for months and as far as I'm aware she still threatens him with it on occasion. He doesn't seem too worried.
#reply-4730784

This is one of those sad cases of the pot calling the kettle black...about a million times.

Are there any objections to my nominee?
Thanks,
Gary

Marcos...

Got one better for you.

This concerns yours truly....

www3.techstocks.com

Yesterday, December 16, 1997, NAMX, Zurich Holding Company, Patroclos Finanz
AG and Joyce Miller (a shareholder) filed a civil suit in the 3rd District
Court in Utah, #97-090990, against among others Internet hypster Hunter Vann
of Glasgow, KY. The suit contains six Causes of Actions. The 4th Cause of
Action (Racketeering Violations under Utah Code Annotated Section 76-10-1603
prays the following (excerpt) "defendants conducted, controlled, and
participated in the enterprise's affairs by engaging in a series of illegal
acts, defined as "unlawful activity" under the provisions of UCA Section
78-10-1602(4), including, among other things, theft by deception, manipulation
of stock prices by manipulative and deceptive devices, and the use of
interstate communication to deceive and defraud the Plaintiffs and otherwise
deprive them of their property and profits."

Brief history....

I ignorantly bought into a penny stock called Tridon Enterprises about 3 years ago. The CEO was a guy named Paul Ebeling. I spoke with Paul quite frequently on the telephone about his particular business. To say the least, Mr. Ebeling was not known for his honesty. Nothing he told me and the others on the TEIM thread materialized. In other words, he flat out lied about everything that was going on and subsequently the stock took a nose dive after they failed to produce their 10Q.

After Ebeling had been exposed by me and numerous others, I was shocked to see him appointed CEO of another company, North American Exploration(NAMX). I alerted the NAMX thread about this individual and his past business dealings. Of course, most of them accused me of being some sort of short-selling conspirator. I upset Ebeling so much that he filed a lawsuit against me and a few others. I was delivered the lawsuit by one of the deputies in the Sheriff's office at my place of business. Needless to say, I'm sure they thought this would scare me bad enough, and I would quit posting my negative comments on the thread. They badly miscalculated.

To make a long story short(:o)), NAMX gave Ebeling the axe. biz.yahoo.com

Here was Ebeling's response...

NAMX's response....

As you can see, I certainly have enough material to write a book....

Hi marcos
or
It will be interesting to watch

I have no fondness for john, he is rude jerk, but you are right in the fact that he is a member of our community.

I have no doubt that it is Antares, none at all.
I didn't bother to read all the referenced posts, I am lazy, I am tired, my computer crashed.
I agree, it will do more harm than good to Antares, they do not yet know this. In a large part, it will depend upon the extent of the support john might receive from other members and the activity on that thread.

If you know john, even if you don't, it might be a good idea to communicate your feelings about this directly to the poster Antares.
