Uniform Civil Code is an ideal -- another of those items on the "wish-list", if you will. It can only happen alongside other political, social and economic changes. And even then, it is a gradual process.

Those who say they can ram it down the throat of the entire country are saying it only with the intention of creating a vote-bank of their own.
