Sean, I assume the msg box is titled Object Windows. Am sure that is due to the [INPR nee] BORL OWLib, so anything based on BC++ or Delphi could trigger it. Should only pop up when the offending pgm has the focus -- IE would make Dobbs [though MS did admit to using Watcom C++ for a while] ;) I always assumed that cut and paste triggered it in qp_rpts, but Alain e-mailed that his occured while running scans/reports with only Word and NS 4.05 open. I haven't tried to chase down why it happens only on NT. Bob
