Superdow, IR used the word "proven" to me ( ie 8 million ounces) to describe gold reserves at Andicollo and about 8 million ounces at Santiago.(Now Santiago numbers are much, much higher I believe) Not sure if proven was the right term to use. Inferred is probably more likely due to lack of large drill/sample program although placer deposits are bit odd in how you define them.

In terms of Press releases, the Andacollo is stated to have "drill indicated" reserves of somewhat over 6 million ounces. This is based on a study that was done before the property was acquired. Last fall, after performing some additional sampling, and, I assume, a review of the earlier study, the following was released:

"Howe concurs with the Chevron study, indicating 3,303,000 tons at 2.37g Au/ton from vein material plus 3,430,000 tons at 1.31g Au/ton from manto structures, which remain to be confirmed by further drilling. "

I don't specifically recall the term "indicated" being used elsewhere, though it might have been for Mina Claudia.
