I see your logic now but I think you are grossly underestimating AMAT's potential.

Consider AMAT's historical earnings:

1993 - $.30
1994 - $.65
1995 - $1.28
1996 - $1.63
1997 - $1.32

why stop at $7 five years out? I think AMAT should earn at least $50 per share, at 20 PE, it will be trading at $1000 per share.
