That said, stocks are priced well below Mexico-84. Mexican fund increased 20x to the peak. What concerns me most is how the authorities deal with the possibility of a social explosion - the greatest danger now. Not that there are no explosions now - the situation is awful, but I'm talking about a social nuclear explosion which will destroy current government. It looks the current government is in the minefield and cannot afford a wrong step. It looks very difficult right now to pull Russia out without a default on GKO. Tough measures on ordinary people = social nuclear explosion.
