I don't know where your getting the 38% market share from. Since AMD is losing money with every chip it sells, even if they do manage to improve their market share it will just send them to bankruptcy court that much faster. Their debt got downrated last month, not good news for them. The way INTC price is holding up suggests that the market has decided that Intel has the competition at a big disadvantage.
