The other point worth noting is the 80% recovery estimate.

This was an issue of concern earlier. The Virgen deposit has all the makings of a profitable mine BUT we will need financing. As I see it, Gitennes is a takeover target...someone else with deep pockets will put this property into production. Gold prices are abysmal with no sign of change in the short run ..lets hope the US dollar loses some of its magic and investors rediscover the "safe haven" character of gold. That is another story.

Talked to IR today. Jerry is down south, showing the property to 5 different groups that are interested in doing some kind of deal. They say they won't take any deal that doesn't produce real value for shareholders, even if it requires going into stealth mode til POG rebounds. They know they've got a great property. Indeed, they've had their geologists walking the unexplored sections this month and have found some interesting areas worth spending more time on. No specifics yet, just that there is more there.

Reserve estimate not back yet. Won't be released at least til Jerry's back in the office next week, and maybe after Labor Day, ie end of summer.
