chas--

i understand. normally kurlak weilds a little more power, but everyone is trying to find the bottom in semis. of course, when that happens dogsh_t gets bought along with the good stuff. of course it isnt sustainable long term, or even for the next month. MU likes to peak, then fall off. my guess is sometime in late august.

however, it is going to swing both ways, so i think i may pick up a few calls next time it sells down.

as for demand, sure its strong, but look at how much stronger it needs to be for MU to make money. its just not going to get there. they are projecting that dram prices will remain the same or rise from here to november. this is just nonsense.

they are doing the same thing they always do...make overoptomistic projections, then when they dont materialize blame it on asia. its a load of crap. the fact is that this isnt the same industry it was in 95 when it went up soooo high. and the shut downs havent helped a lot in the past.

good luck to all,
trey
