I find value in MarketTimer in ways beyond its communicating a possible sell alert. But this discussion has been focused on that issue. It very well may be that we will recognize a sell signal before we get it in the mail. This could happen in a number of ways -

We are astute listeners, understand many of the qualitative aspects of the timing model, and may see the market change in ways that we would recognize as serious red flags for the model. (This thread did exactly that recently regarding sentiment.)

We may hear it in Bob's discussion and voice in the weeks before he issues an alert.

It may be posted or announced in some forum or on some financial show.

But all of these wouldn't stop me from being a subscriber for an instant. What happens if Bob is off the radio for 4 weeks (like he was at the end of last year) and the market changes? What if one has other weekend plans for a few weeks in a row? With all the wrong information, though often well intentioned, on this thread, would one believe a sell signal posted here?

Nor would I be concerned if I heard it first in a public arena. The $185 is a small insurance policy to be sure that I do get the information.
