Broadcast.com Named the Exclusive Internet Broadcast Service Provider for
Infoseek's 'A Day
in the Garden' Event

DALLAS, Aug. 6 /PRNewswire/ -- Broadcast.com (Nasdaq: BCST) today
announced it has been selected as the exclusive Internet broadcast service provider for
Infoseek's (Nasdaq: SEEK) webcast of 'A Day in the Garden,' to be held August 14,
15 and 16 at the historic Yasgur's Farm in Bethel, New York, where the
original Woodstock festival was held 29 years ago. Fans can listen to and watch the
live concert at infoseek.broadcast.com and concert.infoseek.com.

Infoseek selected broadcast.com's business services unit to provide Internet broadcast
hosting and distribution services, complete web design and database
development. Broadcast.com will also provide and manage video production services
and satellite connections for the webcast.
